Die Klinik für Frauenheilkunde und Geburtshilfe des Klinikums Itzehoe ist Mitgesellschafterin des Holsteinischen Brustzentrums GbR, dem größten dezentralen Brustzentrum Deutschlands. Das Holsteinische Brustzentrum (HBZ) wurde als erstes Brustzentrum in Schleswig-Holstein nach den fachlichen Anforderungen für Brustzentren (FAB) durch die Deutsche Krebsgesellschaft und nach DIN EN ISO 9001 vom TÜV Süd zertifiziert.
